Hi! I’m Skylar — a 19-year-old nursing student in Southern California with a deep passion for holistic, plant based living. I believe that what you eat directly impacts how you look, how you feel, and how long you live.

At 17 I began growing a serious interest in eating healthy — both to maintain excellent physical condition and to keep the aging process at bay. What started as curiosity quickly became a lifestyle, and then a mission to share with others.

I work out regularly, study nursing, and spend my free time creating beautiful, nourishing plant based food that proves healthy eating doesn’t mean sacrificing flavor, beauty, or satisfaction.

I started Skylar’s Plant Based Cooking because I wanted to show people that healthy food can be absolutely stunning. That berry cake on our home page? No sugar. Low calorie. 100% plant based. And it looks like it belongs in a magazine.

As a future nurse I understand the science behind food and disease. Plant based eating has been shown to ward off high blood pressure, all types of cancer, heart disease, diabetes, and even dementia.

But beyond the science — it gives me a slim, sleek body, glowing skin, boundless energy, and the confidence that I’m doing something incredible for my future self every single day.
